Hobbs Electric uses an SMS-based job dispatch and communication service to send job opportunity notifications to line-crew members. Crew members can accept job assignments by replying to text messages (e.g., replying "YES" or "Y"). The Service facilitates coordination between Hobbs Electric and its crews for job assignments, scheduling, and related operational communications. Messages are delivered through Line Operations, a dispatch platform owned and operated by Hobbs Electric LLC.
2.SMS Messaging Terms
The following terms apply specifically to our SMS messaging program. Full details — including our consent script, sample messages, and complete opt-out instructions — are published on our dedicated SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent page. By consenting to receive SMS messages, you agree to the following:
SMS Program Summary
- Program Name: Hobbs Electric Crew Dispatch
- Program Description: We send SMS messages to enrolled crew members containing job opportunity notifications, job assignment details (including location, scope of work, dates, and pay information), dispatch confirmations and updates, and essential service communications.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You will typically receive 1 to 20 messages per week, and may receive more during active storm events, depending on job availability and active dispatch events.
- Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details regarding your text messaging plan and any associated charges.
3.User Consent for SMS Messaging
Consent is collected on our website. By submitting the crew application at hobbselectricllc.com/crew-onboarding.html with the SMS consent box checked, you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS text messages at the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment, hiring, or of using any other service. You represent and warrant that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile device and phone number you provide, and that you are authorized to approve the applicable charges.
4.Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to any message you receive. You may also text QUIT, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out. After sending your opt-out request, you will receive a single confirmation message. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To re-enroll after opting out, reply START from the same mobile number, or re-submit the crew application at hobbselectricllc.com/crew-onboarding.html with the SMS consent box checked.

6.Supported Carriers
Our SMS service is supported on major U.S. mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, UScellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and is subject to each carrier's terms and conditions.
7.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
8.User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and current information, including your correct mobile phone number; to use the Service only for its intended purpose of job dispatch and work-related communications; not to use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose; to promptly notify us of any changes to your mobile number or if you wish to stop receiving messages; and not to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
9.Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your number is only used for dispatch purposes and is never sold or shared with any third party.
10.Intellectual Property

12.Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOBBS ELECTRIC LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED JOB OPPORTUNITIES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
